1. About the Service

Odisha Home Tutor is a platform intended to facilitate connections between students, parents, guardians and tutors across Odisha.

2. Student and Parent Requests

Users may submit tutoring requirements and should provide accurate, current information about the student, subject, class, location and other relevant requirements.

3. Tutor Registration

Tutors are responsible for providing truthful information about their identity, qualifications, subjects, experience and teaching preferences.

4. Administrative Review

Tutor information may be reviewed by Odisha Home Tutor before a tutor is considered for matching. Administrative review is not a certification or guarantee of identity, qualification, teaching ability, conduct, availability or any particular tuition assignment.

5. Tutor-Student Matching

Automatic matching prioritises location (40 points), subject (30 points), class (20 points) and teaching mode (10 points). Preferred days and time are not used in the automatic matching score and may be considered separately during human coordination.

A suitable match or tuition assignment cannot be guaranteed.

6. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide and for communicating respectfully and responsibly with people introduced through the service.

7. Privacy and Personal Information

Users must not misuse, publish or distribute another person's personal information obtained through the service.

8. No Guarantee

Odisha Home Tutor aims to facilitate suitable connections but does not guarantee that every student will receive a tutor or that every tutor will receive a tuition assignment.

9. Financial and Other Losses

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Odisha Home Tutor is not responsible for financial loss, property loss, personal loss, disputes, damages or other losses arising from arrangements, transactions, communications or interactions between users, tutors, students, parents or guardians.

10. Prohibited Use

The website must not be used for fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, abusive, harmful or unrelated purposes.

11. Service Changes

We may modify, improve, suspend or discontinue any part of the website or service when necessary.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page.
